2010 – 2013: Project director of Vietnam Aquatic Biofuel Project funded by SenterNovem within the framework of the Global Sustainable Biomass Programme.
2006 – 2008: Landscape Assessment and project M&E Coordinator for Asia Regional Biodiversity Conservation Program (ARBCP), Winrock International.
2003 – 2005: Coordinator and Environmental Specialist for PADCO to implement two projects in Vietnam funded by USAID/USAEP.
Oct 2000 – Sept 2003: Manager (Nov 2002 to Sept 2003) and Core Zone Coordinator (Oct 2000 – Nov 2002) of U Minh Thuong National Park Conservation and Community Development Project (1998 – 2003), implemented by CARE International in Vietnam.

Awards
2011: Certificate of Merit presented by the Chairperson of Ninh Thuận People’s Committee for having excellently accomplished the McKnight-funded Project “Sustainable livelihood development for communities in the buffer zone of Nui Chua National Park, Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam”.
2005: USAEP Award to recognize contributions made through working in partnership to improve the environment and quality of life for the people of Asia.
2004: Certificate of Appreciation for Community Spirit and Volunteerism presented by The United States Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and USAID on the celebration of the Earth Day 22 Apr 2004 with its theme of “Working together for a cleaner environment”.
2002: Certificate of Merit presented by Kien Giang People’s Committee for contribution to the successfully accomplished “U Minh Thuong National Park Conservation and Community Development Project”.

Jan 1998 – Apr 2000: A fellowship grantee of the WWF/GEF (World Wildlife Fund/Global Environment Facility) project VIE/91/G31 to pursue a MSc degree in USA.
1995: Participated on training programme on “Environmental Management and Administration” from Oct 2 – 6, 1995 in Hanoi, Vietnam, and Oct 9 – 27, 1995 in Berlin, Germany, funded by German Foundation for International Development (DSE).
