WELCOME TO CZECHGLOBE
In general, CzechGlobe philosophy is based on the following fundamental questions:
| 1th | To what extent is the Earth's biosphere able to absorb the excess of carbon, which is released into the atmosphere by humans, without the end effect associated with GC? |
| 2th | Are terrestrial ecosystems really the most vulnerable part of the Earth's carbon cycle, with regards to the importance of the cycle? |
| 3th | Is the development of human society in the context of the GC permanently sustainable? |
The principal activity of CzechGlobe is a comprehensive scientific research on issues of the GC and its impacts on the atmosphere, terrestrial biota and human society. To meet this objective, the Centre uses the most powerful tools available, based on an interdisciplinary approach, including the development of new techniques and procedures. Through its activities, the Centre contributes to raising the level of knowledge and education and to applications of results of scientific research.
