2009– Special authorization (Section 45 (i) of Act no. 114/1992 Coll. on Nature and Landscape Protection; this duty is derived from Articles 6 and 7 of Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the Conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora). Any policy or project which may have a significant effect on the territory of a Site of Community Importance or Special Protected Area (Natura2000) shall be subject to assessment of its implications on this territory. The assessment may only be carried out by persons in possession of the special authorization.

2012-2013: Research visit focused on Functional Ecology at Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL) in Bellinzona (Switzerland).

2008: METIER Graduate Training Course in Ecological Modelling organized by Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ, Leipzig (Germany).

2007: Trainee-ship at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ, Department of Community Ecology in Halle/Saale (Germany).
