11th EARSeL Imaging Spectroscopy Workshop in Brno

Last week the Remote sensing team of CzechGlobe successfuly hosted the 11th EARSeL Imaging Spectroscopy Workshop in Brno. In total 185 researchers, students and industry representatives from 26 countries discussed the latest achievements in the field of hyperspectral remote sensing. The hot topics of the Workshop were for instance, rapid development of imaging spectroscopy from UAV platforms (drones), progress in interpretation of chlorophyll fluorescence signals in context of the upcoming FLEX satellite mission, and fusion of imaging spectroscopy with LiDAR and thermal data. The participants enjoyed both the rich scientific and social programme.
