Professor Jones, former director of the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, is one of the leading figures in climate research. He has also been active at the Global Change Research Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Throughout his scientific career, he has published works on temperature records spanning the last 1,000 years, among other topics. Over his long career, he has received numerous awards, and recently, he added another to his collection.
