Research Focus
I am an environmental scientist focused on the relationship between people and nature, particularly ecosystem services and their role in society. My research explores how different groups perceive nature’s benefits and how these insights can be applied in practice. I am especially interested in participatory approaches that engage stakeholders in research and decision-making, as collaboration leads to more effective and sustainable solutions. Communicating scientific knowledge is also a key part of my work—I strive to bridge the gap between academia and practice and to make the importance of nature conservation more accessible to both experts and the public. I believe that an interdisciplinary approach, combining ecology, social sciences, and economics, is essential for developing innovative environmental solutions.
