On November 22, 2023, an event focused on technology transfer in forestry took place at CzechGlobe, involving participants from France and the Czech Republic. The event, organized in collaboration with the French Embassy, welcomed French representatives from the field of innovative forest management.
Among the participants were representatives of organizations such as CNPF (National Centre for Private Forest Ownership), FCBA (Technological Institute for Forestry, Cellulose, Wood Construction, and Furniture), Gascogne Forêt Service (a forestry company encompassing wood processing activities for packaging, paper, and multilayer materials for protection and packaging), and the forestry association Xylofutur.
The event began with a presentation of research activities at CzechGlobe, emphasizing the newly emerging AnaEE-ERIC Interface and Synthesis Centre. Hosted by CzechGlobe, this center serves to integrate and synthesize data in the field of environmental research within the European infrastructure of AnaEE-ERIC, representing a crucial step towards more sustainable and efficient utilization of natural resources.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for experts in forestry and research to exchange ideas, establish new partnerships, and strengthen collaboration in this key area of environmental research.
