Research Focus

a) earlier: cloud microphysics  (till 1992); statistical methods of weather forecasting (till 1995); ozone and UV‑B radiation (till 2000); b) present: stochastic weather generators; climate change – scenarios development and impact analysis.

1981‑1986: Mathematical and Physical Faculty, Charles University, Prague (meteorology and climatology)

1988: RNDr. degree defended

1991‑1997: Ph.D. study in Mathematical and Physical Faculty, Charles University, Prague (thesis: “Statistical methods of very short range forecasting of meteorological phenomena”)
