Research Focus

The current research interest is focused on: (1) tree growth strategies in the context of forest functional ecology under global climate change; (2) mechanism of environment-induced effect on the wood formation and biomass allocation, (3) patterns of tree mortality and associated forest die-offs to drought accompanied by warmer temperature and lack of precipitation; and (4) evaluation of wood production changes affected by climate change.
