Odborné zaměření

  • Fyziologie a modelování růstu, vývoje a výnosů plodin ve vztahu ke klimatickým podmínkám, limitům vody a dusíku, dynamiky uhlíku, dusíku a vody v agroekosystémech, ekonomické a ekologické posouzení rotace plodin a strategie řízení s využitím simulačních modelů (podnebí, změny ve využití půdy, ochrana vodních zdrojů, skleníkové plyny), analýzy, odhad parametrů a modelování půdní organické hmoty a mineralizace zbytků plodin, dopady (a adaptace na) klimatické změny na produkci potravin, rozčlenění tématu udržitelného hospodaření s přírodními zdroji, integrované modelování pro posouzení dopadů jednotlivých politik.
